If you think you've never heard of Keith LeBlanc, you're probably right. But if you think you've never heard his playing, you're almost certainly wrong. As Drummer for the Sugarhill label's house band, he played on Grandmaster Flash's monumental single "Freedom." He's produced the work of Nine Inch Nails and Tack Head and, best of all, has played drums on scores of Solo albums always worth seeking out, and this one is no exception. Edit: I'm blown away by this release. Amazing concept - global female vocal reggae album with contributions in Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Yoruba, Arabic, Tigrinya etc. And then there's the music. Superb production as you'd imagine from Adrian Sherwood, plus songs and emotions and vibrations of the highest energy and deepest feeling. I'm especially struck by Rita Morar's "Meri Awaaz Sumo" (funky!), Kerieva's "Chavale" (violin!), and JaGodDa's "Krysztalowy Aniol" (soulful!). But it's all great... mcdan77
